Course Management Instructions
General faculty questions about viewing rosters, Blackboard, TWEN, Lexis Classroom.

UDC Blackboard
- Faculty can view Blackboard tutorials at https://help.blackboard.com/Learn/Instructor.
- To make your Blackboard course available to students, follow these steps:
- Log into Blackboard (https://udc.blackboard.com) using your standard login credentials (email username and password).
- Select your current course under “My Courses.”
- Find the “Course Management” box on the bottom left of the webpage and click “Customization.”
- Then click “Properties.”
- Use the “Set Availability” and “Set Course Duration” functions.
- If you would like to add a TA to your course site, please email lawlibraryhelp@udc.edu.
TWEN & Lexis Classroom
- It is easy for students to self-enroll in your TWEN and Lexis Classroom courses.
- Returning students should already have Westlaw and Lexis accounts.
- 1Ls were provided Westlaw and Lexis during orientation.

Viewing Your Roster and Emailing Students:
- You can access your roster and student email addresses regardless of which course management system your use.
- Log into https://my.udc.edu.
- Select “Faculty” from the menu and then “My Classes.”
- Select the term from the dropdown menu.
- Click the arrow to the right of your class.
- Click “Summary Class List” at the top right.
- Click on the arrow to the right of each student to view their email address, which you can copy and paste into an email.

- Log into Blackboard (https://udc.blackboard.com) using your standard login credentials (email username and password).
- Then click “My Organizations” in the top righthand corner.
- Click on the “UDC Law – Faculty Resources” organization.
- There you will find instructions for using Blackboard, TWEN, Lexis Classroom, etc.
